Abstract
The father of the Olympic Games in the Modern Times, Pierre de Coubertin, utilized a strategy in 1919, post-First World War to promote his ideas. He decided that the Games should be accessible to a global population from all walks of life; available for all and not open only for competition purposes. He vouched and supported for the democratization of sport for all in terms of physical practice.
