The use of examples related to international sporting events that were affected by the lockdown serves to reflect an expectation about the future of global sport. From a SWOT analysis based on situational assessment, the return of activities is explored in a critical way. The position of senior managers in Olympic and Paralympic sport in relation to the pandemic is also used to discuss the situation in question.
