In this paper, reduced complexity channel estimation techniques that was first proposed in case of Single Input Single Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (SISO-OFDM) is generalized in case of multiple-input multiple-output-OFDM (MIMO-OFDM) systems. The impact of complexity reduction is analyzed through floating point simulation, fixed point simulation and FPGA implementation using rapid prototyping. © 2013 IEEE.en_US
