dc.description.abstract | This paper dives deep into a simple but crucial question: in today’s fast-paced digital era, how important is it for businesses to adapt? While there’s been a lot of chatter about the sweeping changes that digitalization brings, there’s still a murky understanding of what happens to companies that don’t hop on this digital train in time. Through a mix of digging into academic articles and drawing real-world lessons from the contrasting tales of Netflix and Blockbuster, this research paints a clearer picture. As Netflix soared by embracing change, Blockbuster’s hesitation sealed its fate. The takeaway?
